We are a couple Keshav Murthy M and Poornashree A S behind KOKO PODS dark chocolates. Basically, we are farmers growing Cocoa as a side crop.
We love dark chocolates and were fascinated to see how each cocoa beans plays a crucial role in the flavour development of the chocolates. So, the vision to healthy eating led to the evolution of KOKO PODS. We grow cocoa in our own farm from past 25 Years.
Our chocolate is "Single Origin", which means that all the cocoa beans that we use to make our chocolate comes from our own plantation. This reduces the entire supply chain into a single point.
The entire harvesting and post harvesting is done at our farm and we take utmost care during fermentation and drying the cocoa beans so that we get the best out of the cocoa beans.
We designed the branding ourselves in a simplistic and minimalist style that compliments the quality of the chocolate inside.
Our entire chocolate box end to end including from wrapping to shipping box is Plastic free. We only use recycled papers for our packaging. Also these materials can be recycled or composted after eating. Our beautiful wrapper is free of Aluminium foils and is made of paper
